About Us
Who We Are We are an Austin-based husband and wife team (Soraiya and Azim Nagree) who love food just as much as we love our beautiful city. I left a very routine job as a chemical engineer for a bowling ball manufacturing company to undertake the rigorous Le Cordon Bleu training program. I have loved being in the kitchen for as long as I can remember and am thrilled to be turning my passion into a reality. My supportive partner Azim is Luxe Sweets' most eager cheerleader and taste-tester. Without him, I don't think I would have had the courage to follow my dream. We truly hope you enjoy our sweets as much as we delight in creating them for you. Our Philosophy
It is a simple truth: food made from scratch, with care,
and by hand just tastes better.
The colors, the textures, the smells, and of course the flavors – nothing is better.
We started Luxe Sweets because we wanted to create delicious treats which
capture all the flavor and taste of home-made food. Every one of our delights
has been made by us, by hand. They may not look all the same, but that's the
part we like best. Because it means that every single product has been made
for you by a person – not some machine.

Desserts a hit at Chinatown Center opening Luxe Sweets provided the truffles and assisted with the sweet dishes for the recent opening of Austin's Chinatown Center located at 10301 Lamar Road. The truffle flavors were Asian-inspired and included such exotic temptations such as mint green tea, Chinese 5 spice, Szechwan pepper and even Soy sauce.
