| Who We Are

| We are an Austin-based company that loves food just as much as we love our beautiful city. I left a very routine job as a chemical engineer for a bowling ball manufacturing company to undertake the Le Cordon Bleu training program. I have loved being in the kitchen for as long as I can remember and am thrilled to be turning my passion into a reality. We truly hope you enjoy our sweets as much as we delight in creating them for you.

Our Philosophy

It is a simple truth: food made from scratch just tastes better. The colors, the textures, the smells, and of course the flavors – nothing is better. We started Luxe Sweets because we wanted to create delicious treats which capture all the flavor and taste of home-made food. Every one of our delights has been made by us, by hand. They may not look all the same, but that's the part we like best. Because it means that every single product has been made for you by a person – not some machine.
Through many hours in the kitchen and lots of hard work, we have perfected our recipes. But recipes are only as good as the ingredients that go into them. That's why we only use premium ingredients like Callebaut chocolate, pure vanilla extract, and we refuse to add any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The result? Treats which are simply irresistible.

Storefront?

The reason Luxe does not have a storefront is simple- we enjoy baking according to exactly what someone requests. We like that people will call us with very bizarre off-the-wall requests that we can fulfill for them. We enjoy talking to each of our customers about what they enjoy in their sweets and what they don't. I think the relationships we create with our customers are invaluable.
Our bakery is in east Austin at 1204 Cedar Avenue in The Kitchen Space (a commercial kitchen rental facility).
